Helene Dumais. Athlete, Coach, Film Producer, Record Breaker, Woman, Human Being. What makes this native-born French Canadian so extraordinary?

Her love of running and matter-of-fact ease for planning and finishing some of the worlds longest races make her the girl next door, and also the female idol we have been waiting for.

She runs races, has competed in obstacle courses, conquered marathons and made history by being the first woman ever to finish Infinitus, the Ulta Marathon that lasts 10 days straight and is 888 kilometers long.

Helene shares her inspiring journey of what it takes to break all the records, by first and foremost, believing in her mind, and all the practicalities that come with doing the impossible - how to manage sleep, training, nutrition, and sanity while putting her body under tremendous amounts of challenging circumstances.

She explains what goes through her head during these rigors, what makes her smile and how she is now giving back to humanity.

She also shares the inspiring story of her 73-year-old mother, who is following in her footsteps and never saying, “It’s too late,” again. Don’t miss this awesome episode!
